Central U13 Tier 1 tryout registration for 26/27 is now open.  Central zone is made up of Kelowna MHA and Winfield MHA and eligible birth years are 2014 & 2015.

Tryouts are taking place May 8-10 2026.  Tryout groups will be sent out the week of tryouts.  Commitments and releases will happen following the first weekend of tryouts.  The commitments and players being brought through to tryout round two, will skate again August 14-16, 2026.

Kelowna MHA will be accepting registration and rostering this team (not Omaha).  The tryout fee is $325.  Credit card through team snap or e-Transfer to registration@kelmha.com is accepted.

Zone tryouts are independent of KMHA tiered tryouts.  Anyone released from zone tryouts is required to sign up for KMHA tier 2,3,4 rep tryouts, players do not automatically filter into those tryouts.  And released Winfield MHA players must return to their home Zone A for U13 rep tryouts.  You do not need to tryout for zone tier 1 to be able to tryout for KMHA tier 2,3,4 or Winfield rep tryouts.  KMHA registration for all other tiered rep and rec divisions will open the first week of June as it always does.

For those trying out for U13 Tier 1, KMHA is offering a two day prep camp May 2nd & 3rd.  The camp is run by Quintin Laing and the cost is $90.  Here is the team snap sign up link https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/516988 (space is limited)
